SUNDRESSES!

Really, that’s the only title for this Old Guys Leave Roundup Post.

Said Mickey after what he called the worst practice of the preseason on Wednesday, coincidentally the day many students started arriving back in the ‘Burg: “The sundresses were all out today and their mind just wasn’t at practice.”

Lawless comes out in less than a week (8/29). Based on the novel The Wettest County in the World by JMU alum Matt Bondurant.  Also check out what looks to be a damn good soundtrack here.

We are also incredibly pleased to announce we’ve sold out the first ever JMUSB tailgate extravaganza bus trip to the WVU game at FedEx.  Thanks for the overwhelming response and can’t wait to celebrate what should be an awesome day of Dukes!

As you all know, the FedEx game will feature the newly awarded #1 FBS v. #1 FCS (WVU/JMU) for best party schools in the nation.  Needless to say, Bring Your Own Sofa!

Also very cool, honorary captains for the game will be ex-Skins Sam Huff (WVU) and Gary Clark (JMU).

Hard to believe the Class of 2016 is all moved into the ‘Burg and we’ll all be opening Bridgeforth Stadium in 8 days.

Lastly, an enormous good luck going out to JMU Field Hockey as they open their season at a tourney in Ohio against the University of Vermont tomorrow!  As you all know, HC Antoinette Lucas is a great friend of the blog and we wish her and the squad the best.  If you’re heading down early for the opener against St. Francis, feel free to stop by their game up in the ISAT tailgate earlier in the day.

Go Coach L! Hopefully your team has a better sense of direction than I do.

Very cool about the honorary captains. Hopefully there aren’t too many sundresses at the opening game because I see another “too close than it should be game” against St Francis (ala Central Conn State).
