Gameday Open Thread: JMU vs. Towson
It’s wet and chilly, but there’s still a game today. The Dukes look to build off of last week’s victory at Albany with a win over their old pals the Towson Tigers. It’s an early kickoff for Family Weekend. Hopefully everyone in the ‘burg is ignoring the weather and enjoying themselves with family and friends. Those of you at home can tune in via Comcast Sports Net or Madizone. Consider this your open thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game chatter. Go Dukes.

Fumble! D-line looks like it’s taking another step forward this week so far. Getting some good pressure in the backfield.
Does Madizone officially have to totally suck every broadcast? Was trying to watch it for the home team announcers, but it really is a stuttering piece of shit.
Fortunately, I’m able to tune in via Comcast Sportsnet. Anyone else having issues with Madizone?
Really loving the defense’s play so far. Bad break on that pick at the end, but the offense needs to finish these drives.
The mic’s don’t like the MRDs today apparently.
Need to run the ball more I think. Don’t know the health situations with the running backs but need a hoss in the second half.

There is something very comforting about seeing Towson go back to being Towson.
If anyone has a video of that targeting call, I’d like to see the replay.

@CSDuke we’ll see if we can find it. I really don’t understand the targeting rule. I understand flagging helmet to helmet hits. I don’t get the shoulder to shoulder ones though. I thought they maybe could’ve called Marlowe for a late hit, but don’t think he deserved to be kicked out.
Refs total craptastic job in this game.
The thing I like about true freshman like Miller and Moreland is it show Withers can recruit. He’s no Alex Wood just trying to win with somebody else’s players.
Targeting foul is confusing and I don’t understand it. But, I really don’t understand taking away the turnover! It was definitely after the interception.
OK. If anyone complains after this one….you need to get a life.
