Gameday Open Thread: JMU vs. Delaware

The Dukes welcome the Blue Chickens to Bridgeforth today. The game is at 1:30 for the Family Weekend crowd and you can tune in via Madizone. The Dukes enter the game at 3-1 and a perfect 1-0 in CAA play. Holding serve at home is a big deal if JMU expects to contend for the league title. And quite frankly, it’s just always fun to beat the Chickens. Consider this your open thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game chatter.

Go Dukes!

Keep Rootin!

    Cloudy day
    Rain gone away
Let’s lay these chicks to rest
And get ready to play our best!

Call Chik filet and tell them to come pick up the. Tenders after the game!

Maybe Madizone could start going live 15 minutes prior to the game so they can make sure they can get their shit together?

  3. Mike / Oct 1 2016

    Madizone……you are failing me!

  4. RobJ / Oct 1 2016

Well, this first drive was good until we self destructed. Our own worst enemy right now.

  5. Jackson Hall / Oct 1 2016

Screw sputtering Madizone. I’m going fishing and will just listen to the game online.

  6. RobJ / Oct 1 2016

Thanks for restoring my faith defense and second drive offense!

  7. QuadDuke / Oct 1 2016

Nice drive! Did they forget to hand out streamers today?

  8. RobJ / Oct 1 2016

All tied up. Perhaps the prevent D isn’t a great move for us. Something about pass coverage being 15 yards off the receiver…..

  9. Rob / Oct 1 2016

Schor extending the play and throwing a huge TD! Looked like that play was doomed.

  10. RobJ / Oct 1 2016

Schor threading the needle and making runs well so far in first half. Stop the stupid penalties fellas (hit after the play on a return?) Seriously?

  11. QuadDuke / Oct 1 2016

Dukes looking good now. And, yes, they did forget to hand out the streamers. They just handed them out. Much better!

  12. RobJ / Oct 1 2016

Defensive holding which appears to be the CAA officials imagining things on the field that aren’t happening. No evidence of a defensive hold in the replays. Crumbling Athletic Association at its finest again.

  13. Rob / Oct 1 2016

Nothing boosts a defense’s confidence like playing a completely one-dimensional offense. Dukes doing a good job holding UD in check.

  14. Rob / Oct 1 2016

That was a ridiculous play by Schor. He ran clear across the field before find the receive down field. Nuts.

I actually like away games better. The streaming of the game worked so much better watching them at Maine last week.

  16. Shrowder / Oct 1 2016

Couldn’t stream the game, but so pumped for the Dukes’ win!

Following along with the ESPN app it looks like Schor ran a lot, anyone who watched know what that’s about? Did the defense just bite hard on the play action, or did we call a lot of QB sneaks/draws?

    Go Dukes!

If you have trouble with Madison why don’t you come to the game? 🙂

  18. Devon / Oct 2 2016

Shrowder, I think it was a good mix of both. They found success running Schor early and they continued to do so. Dealware was very focused on Abdullah and Johnson (rightfully so) so it lead to alot of option plays and some success for Schor.
