Keira Knightley just led ECU onto the field

What is with these camera angles?

    ESPN can suck it.

ESPN3 is absolutely shitting the bed right now. Cannot watch more than 30 seconds at a time without freezing.

ESPN3 has sucked on ice tonight. The good news is that as soon as I flipped over to Madizone audio, they’ve scored 3 TDs. I’ll take it.

I’m glad the program is at this point for me to make this next comment. That timeout by ECU with 20ish seconds left in the game was bullshit. Just lose with grace. Otherwise, great job on D, running game isn’t slowing down from last year, Shor is still great and does what he needs to do to win, and there was some touchy PI calls tonight. When you win in spite of turnovers and penalties, you’ve got a good team.

That was one heck of a second half for the Dukes. Plenty of things to improve upon, but it’s clear this team has a ton of talent. Great way to start off the title defense.

    Go Dukes!

You’ve gotta love that we are not surprised to put a whipping on a BCS team from a pretty good conference.
Unfortunately couldn’t make the trip and had to try and watch on espn. I won’t complain about Madizone after tonight.

I expected way more from ESPN3. We eventually resorted to playing the audio from Madizone while watching the video fade in and out.

As for the game, in my (totally impartial) opinion, only about 1/4 of the pass interference calls were legit. It was mostly Jimmy and others just playing physical defense. It’s not our fault that the pirates couldn’t complete a pass. Offensive line performed way better than expected after failing to convert some 3rd and shorts in the first half. Announcers kept acting surprised that we were dominating the game. I was not surprised. Great win.

    Really nice win!

One advantage of having to watch the replay on ESPN at 1:00 a.m. Monday is the buffering isn’t nearly as bad :), though the replay ended just after our final extra point.

Business trip, indeed. Thought most of the PI calls were legit, though somewhat frustrating to see ECU get rewarded when their QBs sucked accuracy-wise; was surprised ECU’s DE didn’t get called for contact to the head on his sack of Schor.

No big heads; gotta grind for 15 games…Go Dukes!
