Prediction Contest: JMU vs. Elon

JMU heads to Elon this weekend for what is essentially the CAA championship game. The Dukes have clinched a share of the title, but Elon can share it with a win. That’s not something I ever thought I’d write. The Dukes also have a 22 game winning streak on the line and are hoping to close out an undefeated regular season. So, big game.

We’re running back our prediction contest again. Here’s a refresher. Leave a comment below letting us know who you think is going to win on Saturday. The person who comes closest to nailing it (winner & score) will get to write a guest post. It’s that easy.

Go Dukes!

Noon, away games are tough! I’m predicting another slow start that gives Elon some momentum towards halftime. But I think we get it done in the second half.

They are coming off a big loss and us a big win. They need this win for a share of the CAA. Both sides should be motivated, but they will likely be down mentally after the disappointment last week.

The 3 and outs and turnovers still concern me and I’m afraid they are going to bite us in the butt in the playoffs, but this week I think we get by again.

    20 – 13 JMU. Go Dukes!

Think of the headlines, if we were to lose:

“22-game win streak comes to an end … where?”

“Mighty ‘who’ ? ends JMU win streak at 22.”

Our guys will not let that happen …

    JMU – 28
    E-who? – 6

  40. Andrea / Nov 18 2017

    Dukes win 38-7
