\"\"<\/a>I guess this we shouldn’t expect Coach Matthews to comment on the blog anytime soon. He closed practice to the media because he didn’t want anything leaked via social media. In his words, he’s against “Tweeter or twister or whatever you call it.” <\/a> Um, speechless.<\/p>\n

The JMU women are heating up on the soccer field. They’ve won 5 straight and cruised over ODU with a 5-1 win<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The field hockey team has come back to earth after a bit of hot streak. The women lost to William & Mary<\/a> last Saturday and now are .500 in the CAA. I’m sure Coach L will get ’em back on track soon.<\/p>\n

Finally, if you’re headed back to the ‘Burg this weekend for the game, it’s OK to leave the purple at home just this once. It’s the Dukes Tackle Cancer – Pink Out Game<\/a>. I’ve heard some folks grumbling about this because pink isn’t intimidating or some nonsense. Each to their own, but I think it’s a great idea and am proud that JMU is doing it.<\/p>\n
