have a Napolean complex and some public relations challenges (or maybe like saying JMU Football has some off-field problems right now, cough, Scott Noble, cough).\u00a0 I give you the following paragraph pulled right from the <a class=\"wp-caption\" title=\"Baseball Bucknell from JMU Sports\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jmusports.com\/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=14400&amp;ATCLID=205100308\" target=\"_self\">JMU Sports story <\/a>on the Dukes sweep of Bucknell to start the season:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><em><a href=\"http:\/\/jmusportsblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Boom.bmp\"><img data-attachment-id=\"2132\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/jmusportsblog.com\/?attachment_id=2132\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/jmusportsblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Boom.bmp\" data-orig-size=\"\" data-comments-opened=\"1\" data-image-meta=\"[]\" data-image-title=\"Boom\" data-image-description=\"\" data-image-caption=\"&lt;p&gt;Bucknell must&#8217;ve felt like this guy!&lt;\/p&gt;\n\" data-medium-file=\"https:\/\/jmusportsblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Boom.bmp\" data-large-file=\"https:\/\/jmusportsblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Boom.bmp\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2132\" title=\"Boom\" src=\"http:\/\/jmusportsblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Boom.bmp\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>JMU improved to 4-0 on the season while Bucknell dropped to 0-4.\u00a0 The win followed a Friday score of 37-7 and a Saturday doubleheader with scores of 9-2 and 26-15.\u00a0 The series featured 23 JMU home runs, a team slugging mark of 1.056, a team on-base percentage of .588, and a perfect 16-for-16 on stolen base opportunities.\u00a0 Overall, the Dukes&#8217; because this team appears even better, and definitely deeper, than last year&#8217;s Big Dance squad, but the CAA is probably no sure thing to get more than one bid on the women&#8217;s side.\u00a0 Also, great to see the Dawn Evans story about her work with the NephCure Foundation really getting out.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s a great story from <a class=\"wp-caption\" title=\"SI\" href=\"http:\/\/sportsillustrated.cnn.com\/2011\/basketball\/ncaa\/wires\/02\/16\/2060.ap.bkw.james.madison.evans.1st.ld.writethru.1429\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sports Illustrated<\/a> about quite possibly the greatest basketball player to EVER put on a Dukes uniform and her incredible story.\u00a0 Or check out the video from <a class=\"wp-caption\" href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/sports\/college\/womensbasketball\/2011-01-18-dawn-evans-james-madison-kidney-disease_N.htm\" target=\"_blank\">USA Today<\/a>.\u00a0Seriously, don&#8217;t sell the women short.\u00a0 If you get a chance to catch them in action this last month of Evan&#8217;s career, don&#8217;t poopoo it and pass it up.\u00a0 Much like Rodney Landers senior year, you just can&#8217;t take this combination of greatness, grace, and leadership for granted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><strong>Football: <\/strong>Stadium may be looking great, but the Dukes are going full Tark-era UNLV on the offseason &#8220;issues&#8221; this year.\u00a0 Get it together, man!\u00a0 For the most part, we stay away from getting into these issues, but let&#8217;s just say opening the new palace without five or more scholarship players isn&#8217;t exactly the way to go.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><strong>ODU game on ESPNU Thursday at 7: <\/strong>I&#8217;ll be at Bailey&#8217;s in Ballston for a Magoo-hosted official viewing party, but there are also three official parites in the RIC (Bailey&#8217;s Southside, Big Al&#8217;s West End, and Bandito&#8217;s Fan) and one in Va.
