I mean really, isn’t this what we all hope for when we turn to our favorite college sports blog: rampant, unsubstantiated TMZ style rumor!\u00a0 In the spirit of the tabloid’s ultimate event tomorrow across the pond, I offer “an email from a work buddy” in its unabridged form:<\/p>\n

On another note, my buddy\u2019s son is the QB of the Richard Montgomery team in Rockville and he\u2019s in a big-time QB camp right now.\u00a0 The guy in the article below is the stud of the camp and the JMU QB of the future.\u00a0 My buddy says, he\u2019s like Big Ben with speed.\u00a0 He\u2019s a monster, and has an absolute gun.<\/em>

I do find it interesting that this kid is looking for a “hands-on coach” and Mickey became the QB’s coach and OC this offseason.\u00a0 I also always find it interesting to hear how FCS schools try to recruit against FBS programs, seemingly by promising more nonsense like\u00a0 guaranteed<\/em> playing time and basically throwing themselves at the feet of 16 and 17\u00a0year olds earlier than anyone else and hoping they hang with their first love.<\/p>\n
