\"\"<\/a>The above picture popped up on Twitter last week when I was on vacation. It supposedly is the Dukes’ newest football alternate road jersey. It’s a little surprising to see black on a JMU jersey, but I really like it. My only real complaint is that if it truly is a road jersey, then we’re not going to get to see it at Bridgeforth. When you consider all of the other recent uniform updates by other teams, it’s actually fairly conservative. And I assume that it’s going to take the place of the gold jerseys, which I’ve never really loved. So while I’m sure some folks will resist this and cling to tradition, I’m fully on board with this. Considering all of the other truly awful designs Nike has at its disposal, I’m honestly more relieved than anything else though.<\/p>\n
