Not only is it homecoming, but it&#8217;s the first and only meeting between the two schools as CAA conference mates, since the Panthers are Slumbelt bound next season. Like we do before every game, we&#8217;re running our prediction contest. Here&#8217;s a quick refresher. Leave a comment with your prediction for Saturday&#8217;s game, including the winner and final score. The person who comes closest to getting it correct (winner &amp; score) will get to guest post next week.<\/p>\n<p>Quite frankly, Georgia State has struggled greatly in its first season playing CAA Football. Saturday&#8217;s game just got a whole lot more exciting though since it will mark Michael Birdsong&#8217;s debut as the starting QB. Will Birdsong lead the Dukes to his first (hopefully of many) win as a starter? Or will Georgia State rise to the occasion for the upset?
