Jari Continues Dominance of JMUSB Contests

JMUSB reader Jari finished on top of the table in the first ever JMUSB World Cup Pick ‘Em. I’m not sure how many readers we have named Jari, but in this case our winner is the very same Jari who won the first JMUSB contest to predict when Arthur Moats would be drafted.  He correctly predicted the winners for 40 matches during the tournament. For his efforts, he’ll get another JMUSB t-shirt, which gives him control of exactly 50% of the world market for said product.

What does this teach us? First of all, I loved James Surowiecki’s book, but the wisdom of crowds < Jari guesses. All I’m saying is this. If we hold another contest to predict how the Dukes will do in football season, and Jari says they’re going all the way, I’m booking my trip to Frisco right then. Second of all, if you ever happen to see anyone wearing a JMUSB t-shirt just walk right up and say “Hi Jari” because chances are better than average that it will be him.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest and we hope you enjoyed the World Cup.
