Prediction Contest: JMU Takes on Georgia State
True Freshman QB Michael Birdsong and the JMU Dukes welcome the Georgia State Panthers to Bridgeforth Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Not only is it homecoming, but it’s the first and only meeting between the two schools as CAA conference mates, since the Panthers are Slumbelt bound next season. Like we do before every game, we’re running our prediction contest. Here’s a quick refresher. Leave a comment with your prediction for Saturday’s game, including the winner and final score. The person who comes closest to getting it correct (winner & score) will get to guest post next week.
Quite frankly, Georgia State has struggled greatly in its first season playing CAA Football. Saturday’s game just got a whole lot more exciting though since it will mark Michael Birdsong’s debut as the starting QB. Will Birdsong lead the Dukes to his first (hopefully of many) win as a starter? Or will Georgia State rise to the occasion for the upset? Let us know what you think.
