CAA Tourney Prediction Contest
It is estimated that Americans fill out approximately 40 million brackets each year for the NCAA Tournament. While I can’t find any statistics for the number of CAA Tournament brackets completed, it’s probably slightly fewer than that. And we’d like to change that by running our first ever CAA Basketball Tournament Bracket Challenge. Unfortunately, even though there is a virtually limitless number of websites hosting NCAA bracket challenges, we can’t find a single one that hosts a CAA bracket (shocking I know). But we’re nothing if not adaptable. We put on the ol’ thinking caps and came up with a work around. Actually we just realized that with an abbreviated tourney field, we could probably track things manually. It’s a 3 round tournament with 7 teams after all. We’re not splitting atoms here.
This is how it’s going to work. Each match-up is listed below. Enter your picks in the comments by stating Game 1 – winner, Game 2 – winner, etc. Leave your predicted final score for the championship (Game 6) as a tie-breaker. Monday night we’ll total things up (1 point for each round 1 game, 2 for round 2, and 4 for the championship) and notify the winner via email. Just like things worked in our football prediction contests, the winner will get to write a guest post (save caveat as always, just don’t make JMUSB look like sh*t). Pretty simple, right?
Game 1 – #4 George Mason vs. #5 Drexel
Game 2 – #2 Delaware vs. #7 Hofstra
Game 3 – #3 JMU vs. #6 William & Mary
Game 4 – #1 Northeastern vs. Game 1 winner
Game 5 – Game 2 winner vs. Game 3 winner
Game 6 – Game 4 winner vs. Game 5 winner
Or if you’re more visually inclined, you can see the bracket here. Get your picks in before Game 1 tips off at 3:30 Saturday and enjoy the tournament.

Epic GTB/David Chadwick FAIL.
Interesting that almost everyone that took JMU to win also took Drexel to beat Mason.
Good day! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with
SEO? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good
success. If you know of any please share.
Thanks!
