Dawn Evans wins 2010 Randolph Inspiration Award

WBB’s Dawn Evans was chosen as the CAA’s 2010 Randolph Inspiration Award Winner this past week.  As we’ve noted before, Evans was diagnosed with a kidney disorder this past season (and still led the Lady Dukes to the first CAA title in forever and the Big Dance!).  Here at JMUSB, we’ve tried to cover this a bit given Dawn might be the finest athlete in any sport in the Valley right now, but we really don’t know enough to speak intelligently on the issues.  Thankfully the JMU Sports article on the Award does a great job bringing a bit of clarity to things.  As always, we wish Dawn nothing but the best and will try and keep everyone updated with any further news.

Also, there’s still time to vote today in the first JMUSB contest for when Arthur Moats will be drafted so check out the post below and state your case.

People are sleeping on Dawn. I understand that woman’s hoops isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but she is an amazing player and a real inspiration.
