Simeyon Rice Suspended Indefinitely From JMU Football

As we’ve said before Coach Withers doesn’t mess around. Weather we’re talking about onside kicks or player discipline, he operates according to his own standards. And he expects the players to live up to those standards too. No further information was given, other than to say that the starting defensive end violated university and team policies.

Hopefully this matter can be dealt with and Robinson will be back on the field soon. These guys should get it by now that EW is not playing around and just giving lip service regarding expectations for his players. He is dead serious and code of conduct.

The good news is that the ‘indefinite suspension’ can be very flexible in nature and if Robinson does the ‘right’ things immediately and addresses the issue he could be back on the field in a very short timeframe (1-2 weeks).

Will miss Robinson but he is a big boy and needs to learn to follow the rules. Sorry he is out but glad the EW has ethics and runs a tight ship. GO DUKES!
