Gameday Open Thread: JMU vs. Albany
It’s a beautiful day in Harrisonburg and the Dukes are all set to open the 2015 CAA season with a game against the Albany Great Danes. Kickoff is at 3:00 PM and the game will be broadcast on CSN. If you’re in the ‘burg, swing on by P Lot 118 to talk some football and share a beer with Todd. Consider this your official open thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game chatter. What a heads up play on that strip. Credit that to coaching those kids to never quit on a play. Great throw and catch for the TD.

I don’t understand how a pass hitting a ref isn’t whistled dead. Seems like common sense.
Yeah, that was something I’ve definitely never seen before. Bad luck, then some atrocious tackling to let Albany score a few plays later.
Apparently Gage Steele is the on defensive player who knows how to tackle. Time for the D-line to step up. No reason to get manhandled by the Albany O-line.
Not hitting the panic button just yet, but getting close. Need a stop here and then a MAJOR turnaround in the second half.

Refs admitting JMU got a play in, then still going back to review the play before that? Good gracious… Every year I see something in the CAA that makes me bang my head against the table.
