Prediction Contest: JMU vs. Delaware
Is it just me, or does it feel like decades since JMU last played a football game? In any case, the bye week is over and the Dukes are back in action this Saturday. They’ll face a Delaware Blue Hens team that is struggling lately after an early season strong performance against Villanova and an upset win over William & Mary. Lately though, things haven’t been working out for the Blue Chickens. Their offense is anemic. On a good day. On a bad day it’s non-existent. Which means it’s a perfect chance for the Dukes defense to get well.

We’ll play a lot of man to man coverage and load the LOS to stop the run.
It will be very interesting to see how Schor does this week. Bye weeks have been notorious with affecting the offensive flow/timing/synch. After couple weeks of prep and hearing how great he has looked so far- will he overthink things and force some stuff trying to make plays or do we keep it simple and easy by running the ball and easy throws?
I think the bye week will be great for the defense (rest, gametape, and adjustments) and they’ll be ready to roll off 6 straight victories starting this Saturday.
