JMU Football Gameweek is Finally Here
There’s a JMU football game this week you guys. A real live, counts in the standings, football game. Our beloved JMU Dukes kick off the 2016 season this week! This set off quite the dance party in JMUSB headquarters. Bonus points if you can tell which one is Todd and which one is Rob in the image above.
Anyway, this means that JMUSB is back to its regularly scheduled program. For those of you who forgot what that is, let us remind you. We’ll hit you all up for your game predictions in the middle of the week. The person who comes closest to nailing it (winner & score) will get to write a guest post on this very here blog next week. And we’ll have our very first 2016 game preview live and ready for your reading pleasure Friday AM. Expect your standard mix of legit football talk and outright mocking of this week’s opponent. Then Saturday we’ll have your regular open thread for all the pre-game, in-game, and post-game (hopefully celebratory) chat. And who knows, maybe we’ll sprinkle in a few surprises.
The important thing is that it’s happening. The 2016 JMU football season is so close we can almost taste it. We’re pretty excited. Are you?
