We’re not messing around any more. This is the first of two huge games in a row for JMU. Coach Houston and the boys make the trip to Bridgeforth East to play RU on Saturday. It’s a clash of two top 10 teams and the winner will have the inside track to the CAA title and an FCS playoff seed. It’s a huge game in every sense of the word. Also, we hate RU. But we want to know what you think. Leave a comment letting us know who you think will win Saturday. The person who comes closest to nailing it (winner & score) will get to write a guest post. It’s a hard one to pick. I think the team will be motivated by what’s on the line and also the big loss last year when we were on a national stage. I like how last week wasn’t even close to being overlooked and they came out firing.
35-31 JMU. My gut says it’ll be a shootout, but I think our 2nd half adjustments make the difference coupled with our balanced offense.

If y’all need a good laugh, go to a UR board and check out the saltiness on display, and the incredible apathy that magically seemed to end this week. Lots of “BUT BUT BUT WE RUINED GAMEDAY FOR THEM DOE” snark. Hilarious. My personal favorite is the clowns saying that we ran up the score last week.

Yeah, the Tick fans are talking smack on their message boards, but of course they are.
I think this is our toughest game of the season. Richmond is stomping good teams since the Sony Brook mess, and crushed Villanova before their bye last week. They’re on their third RB this year, but he’s moving chains with 2 100+ yard games in the last three. Plus, I’m pretty nervous about our secondary vs. Lauletta. I think he’s looking at the NH tape and licking his chops.
But I still got too much dawg in me. 31-28 to The New Breed. Come on, D.
