Predictions Contest: JMU vs. UNC

streamers JThings are about to get a whole lot tougher for JMU football. After being heavy favorites the first two weeks of the season, the Dukes will be decided underdogs this Saturday when they venture down to Chapel Hill to play the UNC Tarheels. But there’s always a chance.

We’d like to know how you think the game will turn out. Leave a comment with your prediction for Saturday’s game. The person who comes closest to nailing it (winner & score) will get to write a guest post. That’s it. So let us know who you think is going to win and Go Dukes!

Given a 50% chance of rain in Chapel Hill on Saturday and JMU’s ground game, (recall that sunny day in 2010 when it was sunny in the burg and we sat in the rain at VT), this soothsayer sees a VT repeat: Madison 21 / UNC 16.

Not making a prediction this week, but if we’re going to win, it’s more than likely going to be a shoot out. We have a ton of depth on the offensive side of the ball so we should stay strong on that throughout the game.

Don’t want to be the guy that wins a prediction contest by going against his team.

    JMU – 45
    UNC – 42

  29. Chris / Sep 15 2016

    33-30 DUKES!

Carolina’s defense is very vulnerable, so there is always hope. However, their offense is pretty scary:

    Carolina: 52
    Duuuuukes 17

Going to the game and cannot wait! Hopefully, we can pull the upset!

Kind of like when I put money down against my Skins because they are the lesser team that day, I know that the silver lining is that if I lose the bet, at least my team won……of course in this case I would rather lose the prediction contest because I picked the wrong team here.

    UNC – 45
    JMU – 21
